Chinese Museum and Salon of Empress Eugenie

The Chinese Museum and the salon of the empress Eugenie were meant for relaxation and for intimate evenings of the royal court.

The Empress asked according to the taste of the period to decorate the room with remarkable collections of art objects from the Far East, in particular from China and Siam.

A novelty accompanies the discovery of the Chinese Museum: the HistoPad. It’s a touch pad that uses augmented reality, 3 Dimension effect and geolocation.
HistoPad offers an interactive exploration of exposed collections and objects that have disappeared. In addition, it is possible to observe a recontextualization of the major pieces in their original decor of the Beijing Summer Palace. It also allows a virtual tour of Empress Eugenie's Salon des Laques.
